In the beginning of 2023 Sofia played in a local Corfiot production of "Tutta Casa Letta e Chiesa" written by Franca Rame and Dario Fo. Known in english as "Female Parts" the play is made up of four parts each a monologue by a different actress. The one given to Sofia was the part of Medea, the notorious tragic Greek spurned wife who allegedly kills her children to spite Jason who has left her for a younger bride.
But has she? Or does she maybe propose to do so as a symbolic way of "killing" all that makes her a woman as defined by the patriarchy?

Sofia positively shone in this role. Aided by the fact that hers was the last part of the production and that all three previous acts had some "comedy" to them, her dramatic performance left the audience stunned.
It was not unusual to see people moved to tears.
